Maccagno con Pino e Vaddasca
Parco Giona Major beach in central Maccagno, only 3 minutes away (on foot) from Golfo Gabella Lake Resort. The beach offers a fascinating lake view embellished by the Cannero Castles, right in front of Piedmont coastline. The pebble and grass beach is one of the biggest on Lake Maggiore and it is equipped with toilets, showers, a basketball and a volleyball court, a skate park and a playground for kids. A few meters from the shore the park gives the perfect location for a picnic in the shade of the trees. On the beach there is a kiosk with bar service, pizzeria and restaurant.
Colmegna
Situated just a couple of kilometers from Maccagno, Colmegna offers a sunny little spot, where you can relax and enjoy the splendid lake view. The beach does not offer services, but a restaurant is situated right in front of it, on the opposite side of the road.
Caldé
Located 20 minutes by car from Maccagno, Caldè is a place of interest widely appreciated for its nice beaches and for the tiny village on the coastline. A couple of bars and restaurants are present in the main square, a good choice also for the breathtaking view on the lake.
